How can you make an unmedicated birth even easier? Marie Chase, mother of 10, HypnoBirthing° Childbirth Educator, Doula, and Placenta Encapsulator talks about that in this episode. She relates her own experiences with natural birthing at home and in a hospital.

She was introduced to HypnoBirthing° with her last baby by a friend. Even though she had enjoyed positive experiences using her own version of instinctive birthing, she was fascinated by the concept of incorporating hypnosis and deep relaxation with the techniques she was already using for a natural birth. She relates how it helped make her last stages of pregnancy more enjoyable as well. Some of the practices she instituted from her training were listening to positive affirmations and taking a long, relaxing bath before retiring in the evening. She reports, “The power of the positive ideas in my mind along with the relaxation accompanying a bath really cleared my brain every night so I could sleep really well and remained focused, tuning into my baby and my body and what I needed.”

She offers suggestions on writing a birth plan and discusses the various birth choices expectant mothers have now. She explains the advantages of using a Birth Center. She shares her passion to help other mothers experience the same joy and ease of childbirth that she enjoyed with her 10th baby. The name of her business says it all, Easier Birthing.
