We are grateful for our care providers at this time and it is appropriate to applaud them. There is one group of care providers who are being overlooked, however.
Parents care for their children 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And now with schools closed, they don’t even get a few hours respite to work for an employer or run a small business or take care of themselves. This episode acknowledges their importance and value. We need parents who can patiently and lovingly prepare our youngest members for their future role in society.
